| Obverse description | The obverse features a stylized Olympic torch rendered in a dynamic, abstract design occupying the left portion of the field, its flame depicted as angular geometric forms suggesting motion and energy. To the lower left appears the small Ukrainian state emblem (tryzub). The right portion of the field is divided diagonally, with the lower-right quadrant bearing a relief pattern of angular snowflake or crystal motifs. The Cyrillic legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) is inscribed in the upper right field, with the denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ and date 2006 below it. The mint mark of the Kyiv Banknote Printing and Minting Works appears beneath the date, and the fineness and weight indicators Ag 925 / 31.1 are inscribed at the lower left. |
