| Reverse description | The reverse, also bell-shaped, features a dramatic gilt central composition depicting the silhouette of a conductor with arms outstretched before a large choir rendered in silver relief, the singers arranged in massed rows with expressive open mouths. Behind the conductor, the gilt field is filled with a swallow in flight and stylized ornamental scrollwork evoking Ukrainian decorative folk art, with three gilded bells suspended at right. Below the choral scene, a staff of musical notation spans the width of the coin. In the lower cartouche, within a polished oval field, the Cyrillic legend reads 'ПЕРШЕ ВИКОНАННЯ «ЩЕДРИКА» У КАРНЕҐІ-ХОЛІ ПІД ОРУДОЮ ДИРИГЕНТА ОЛЕКСАНДРА КОШИЦЯ' in two lines, with the date '1922' prominently displayed beneath. |
