| Obverse description | The obverse features a stylized decorative arch composed of interlaced Kyivan Rus-style ornamental knotwork with floral rosette motifs framing the central field. The small coat of arms of Ukraine (trident) appears at the apex of the arch. Within the arch, the Cyrillic legend УКРАЇНА is inscribed prominently in the upper field, with the denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ below. The year of issue 2000 is positioned beneath the trident. At the lower portion of the field, a stylized architectural frieze depicts a church facade with a cross, flanked by foliate ornaments. The fineness mark Ag 925 and the weight indication 31.1 are incused in the lower left and lower right fields respectively. |
