| Obverse description | The obverse features an ornate decorative composition of flora and fauna encircling the central legends. At the upper centre, the Ukrainian trident coat of arms is displayed within a shield. Flanking the shield are symmetrical sprays of oak branches bearing acorns and grapevine branches bearing clusters of berries, intertwined with additional foliage including thistle and wild roses. A small bird perches on the left-hand branch. The country name УКРАЇНА appears in the upper field, with the denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ below, and the date 2001 at the base. Flanking the denomination are the weight indicator 31.1 to the left and the fineness mark Ag 925 to the right. The mint mark appears at the very bottom of the field. |
