Ivan Skoropadsky served as Hetman of Left-Bank Ukraine from 1708 until his death in 1722, appointed by Peter the Great following the catastrophic defeat of Mazepa at Poltava. His regalia — mace, bunchuk, and seals — were instruments of an authority that was increasingly nominal; Peter systematically dismantled the Hetmanate's autonomy throughout Skoropadsky's tenure, establishing the Little Russian Collegium in 1722 to govern Ukraine over the Hetman's head.
The KM reference spanning four numbers reflects this as a set issue, with individual pieces differentiated by the specific regalia depicted.
