| Thông tin bổ sung |
Part of Ukraine's long-running wildlife conservation series, this issue coincides with active protection efforts for the Eurasian black vulture (Aegypius monachus), whose Ukrainian population had collapsed to near-zero breeding pairs by the late Soviet period due to habitat loss and deliberate poisoning campaigns targeting wolves and foxes — poisons that killed scavenging raptors indiscriminately. Reintroduction programs in the Crimean mountains were already underway by the time this coin was struck.
