Obverse description Printed in green and black on cream paper with a fine geometric guilloche underprint covering the entire field. A large numeral '10' in green occupies the centre, overlaid on a circular municipal seal of Weitersfelden bearing a tower vignette. The denomination 'ZEHN' and 'HELLER' appear in bold display lettering at the top and bottom respectively, flanking a two-column text block in German stating the legal guarantee of redemption at the Gemeindekasse until 31 December 1920. The date 'Weitersfelden, am 10. Mai 1920' and the facsimile signature of Bürgermeister Heinrich Reknagel appear at the foot, above an anti-counterfeiting legend.

Reverse description An elaborate Art Nouveau woodcut-style vignette in dark green and sage green fills the entire face. A central framed panoramic view of the market town of Weitersfelden — with its church steeple, rooftops, and rolling Mühlviertel hillside — is set within a hexagonal cartouche surrounded by broad stylised leaf fronds radiating from the lower centre. The town name 'WEITERSFELDEN' appears in bold relief lettering on a banner ribbon below the central vignette. The printer's imprint and edition notice are inscribed at the lower left and lower right margins respectively.
