The denomination '10 Heller' appears in bold letterpress at both left and right flanking the vignette, with vertical line guilloche panels at the outer edges. Below the vignette, a cartouche carries the place name 'Weissenkirchen a/d. Wachau notgeld is among the most artistically ambitious of the Austrian emergency currency issues, and the Spitz an der Donau series is a particular standout. Eduard Sieger of Vienna handled the printing, but the designs were commissioned from Liesl Kinzel — an unusual choice that gave the series a distinctly regional, hand-crafted character rather than the mechanical look of most municipal issues.
The Weissenkirchen designation places this note within the broader Wachau topographic series, each piece keyed to a specific village along the Danube. By 1920 the inflationary pressure driving notgeld production had shifted from pure coin shortage toward outright collector demand — Sieger and similar printers were well aware of the philatelic market by this point.
