| 备注 |
Part of the vast Austrian Notgeld wave that followed the economic collapse of the First World War, this 10 Heller note was issued by the Marktgemeinde Spitz an der Donau to address the acute small-denomination coin shortage that paralyzed everyday commerce across the former empire after 1918. Thousands of Austrian municipalities issued their own emergency scrip during this period, but the Wachau series stands out for its deliberate artistic ambition — local designer Rudolf Werner contributed artwork printed by Eduard Sieger in Vienna, a firm that handled considerable Notgeld volume during these years.
The Emmersdorf designation links this note to a specific locality within the broader Wachau issuing district.
