正面描述 The obverse is divided into two panels within an Art Nouveau-style decorative border of stylised foliage and geometric motifs. The left panel carries the large numeral '10' in bold blackletter type set against a vertical red-stripe underprint with an olive-green guilloche vignette. The right panel bears the denomination '10 Heller', the issuing authority text 'Kassenschein der Marktgemeinde Telfs' in blackletter script, the validity date 'Gültig bis 31.1.1921', and three manuscript signature lines for Bürgermeister, Vizebürgermeister, and Kassier, with the town name 'Telfs' rendered in ornate red script as the central motif.

备注

Telfs is a market town in the Inn Valley west of Innsbruck, and like hundreds of Austrian municipalities it resorted to issuing its own Notgeld during the acute coin shortage that followed the First World War. The Wagner press in Innsbruck handled a significant share of Tyrolean municipal emergency money, producing small runs for individual towns that rarely saw wide distribution beyond local shopkeepers and market traders.

10 Heller was among the most common denominations in this wave of local scrip — useful for making change when copper and nickel coins had vanished from circulation entirely.
