The left panel contains an oval vignette with crossed swords and a heraldic emblem above the year 1472, surmounted by ornamental scrollwork border, with a large numeral '10' in a decorated box below. The right panel carries the issuer inscription 'Gemeinde Steinbach a.d. Steyr' at top, the denomination 'Gutschein für Zehn Heller' in Gothic script, a liability clause in German text, and three manuscript signatures below their respective office titles.

Steyr' appears in the upper left in Gothic lettering, flanked by two ornamental rosette devices, with the denomination 'Zehn Heller' in large Gothic script upper right and the numeral '10' repeated in decorated circular cartouches at lower left and right. The validity date '31. Dez. 1920' is inscribed to the right, and a counterfeit warning appears along the lower margin.
