| 表面の説明 | Brown notgeld voucher with an ornate floral border enclosing the text field. To the right, a cartouche vignette contains a figure of Saint Nicholas in bishop's vestments standing in a boat on water, with the denomination numeral '10' repeated in each corner of the cartouche. The main text is set in German blackletter script, and three manuscript signatures appear at the foot of the note above the roles of the Gemeinderat representative, Bürgermeister, and Vize-Bürgermeister. |

| 裏面の説明 | Brown typographic design divided into three vertical panels, the wide central panel bearing a detailed pictorial vignette of the ruined hilltop castle Werfenstein set amid rocky cliffs and trees, with a heraldic shield at its base and the artist's signature 'H. Kugler' at lower right. The two flanking panels carry a fine guilloche mesh underprint with swag and garland ornaments and the denomination numeral '10' in each. The place name is inscribed in a rectangular panel at the top and the caption identifying the vignette appears in blackletter script at the foot of the central panel. |

Sankt Nikola an der Donau is a small market town on the Danube in Upper Austria, and this 10 Heller Notgeld was one of thousands of hyperlocal emergency issues that flooded Austria between 1919 and 1921 when coin shortages made small change effectively impossible to obtain. The Heller itself was already a dying denomination — Austria abolished it entirely in 1924 when the Krone collapsed and the Schilling system was introduced.
H. Kugler's involvement as designer places this among the more deliberately crafted municipal pieces of the series, though the print run and issuing circumstances for Sankt Nikola specifically are not well documented.
