| Obverse description | Printed in dark blue-green on buff paper, the obverse is enclosed within an ornate folk-art border composed of silhouetted woodland animal vignettes — deer, foxes, rabbits, and birds — arranged along all four sides. The denomination numeral '10' appears in a cartouche at the upper right, while the issuer name and denomination are inscribed in German blackletter script across the centre. Validity and anti-counterfeiting notices appear at the foot of the note, above which a handwritten signature of the Bürgermeister is placed. |
