The denomination '10 Heller' is set in bold gothic type at the upper centre, above a vigorous woodcut vignette of a sower in a wide-brimmed hat striding across a ploughed field, his right hand scattering seed while a sack hangs from his left shoulder, with a village church tower visible in the middle distance. Two italic cautionary lines below the vignette announce that the note's expiry will be publicly proclaimed and that counterfeiting is punishable by law, followed by the printer's imprint 'Buchdruckerei Jof. Moser, Braunau am Inn.' |
