正面描述 Printed in violet on cream paper, the obverse carries a detailed panoramic vignette of Peuerbach as it appeared circa 1620, with two church towers rising above a dense roofscape set against rolling hills. The denomination '10 Heller' appears in Gothic blackletter script in the upper left and upper right corners, flanking the townscape. The issuer's name 'Markt-Verwaltungs Peuerbach O.Ö.' is inscribed in large Gothic lettering across the lower margin, with the caption 'Peuerbach um 1620.' set above the vignette.

备注

Peuerbach is a small market town in Upper Austria, and this 10 Heller note is a product of the postwar Notgeld wave that swept Austria between 1919 and 1921 — a period when the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system left municipalities scrambling to plug a severe shortage of small-denomination coin. The Markt-Verwaltung had no banking authority in any meaningful sense; it issued these notes on local credibility alone.

Printed by Priezel in Steyr, a firm that handled a number of Upper Austrian municipal issues during this period. Three signatories authenticated the note — an unusually full authorization for a piece of this minor denomination.
