Austrian Notgeld of this type was produced in vast quantities during 1919–1921, but the Münster in Tirol issues are among the smaller village series — genuinely local emergency scrip rather than the decorative collector-targeted Notgeld that flooded the market from larger municipalities at the same time. The 10 Heller denomination sat at the lowest practical level of daily exchange, filling the gap left by metal coin hoarding that had gutted small-change circulation across the former Habsburg territories after 1918.
The Jaksch reference places this within a documented Tyrolean regional series, though print runs for individual denominations at this scale were rarely recorded with precision.
