| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in olive-green tones on cream paper and centred on a large numeral '10' set within a square vignette bordered by a stylised floral and edelweiss motif. The issuer inscription 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Molln' runs in Gothic blackletter script around the upper and right margins, while the validity clause 'Gültig bis 31. Aug. 1920' appears vertically along the left margin. A counterfeiting warning 'Nachahmung strafbar' is placed in Gothic script at the foot of the central vignette. |

Molln is a small market town in Upper Austria, and this 10 Heller emergency note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept Austrian municipalities after the First World War left the national currency in chaos. Local governments printed their own small-denomination scrip simply because coins had vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or lost to wartime disruption.
The Jaksch/Pick reference JPR0625-10 places this within the documented Austrian local issue corpus, though Molln's series is not among the more widely studied.
