The left panel contains a central text block within a ruled rectangular border, set with corner square ornaments, explaining the issuance of this Notgeld due to small-change scarcity, stating redemption for legal tender until 31 October 1920, warning against counterfeiting, and bearing the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister F. Forsterpointner. The right panel repeats the denomination '10 Heller' within a dotted border, headed by 'Kassen-Schein über' and concluded with 'der Gemeinde Maria Schmolln.' in Gothic script; a four-line humorous verse in dialect appears at the upper right. |
