| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is printed in violet-brown on cream paper and divided into three vertical panels within a decorative border of interlaced floral and foliate motifs. The central panel contains a vignette of the ornately carved Eiserner Wehrtisch (Iron Defence Table) of Marchtrenk, captioned below with the inscription EISERNER WEHRTISCH / MARCHTRENK; a small artist's signature C. Kasberger appears at lower right of the vignette. The flanking panels each bear the denomination numeral 10 within a tinted rectangular cartouche, with the word ZEHN above and HELLER below, all framed by arabesque underprint ornaments. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is printed in blue on plain cream paper within a simple double-line rectangular border. The denomination ZEHN HELLER is set in large bold display type at the top, followed by a horizontal rule. Below, a block of text in German states the municipal council resolution of 22 May 1920 authorising the issue of emergency currency vouchers of 10, 20 and 50 Heller to a total value of K 50,000, with the municipality guaranteeing redemption in legal tender until 31 December 1920. The Bürgermeister's printed signature DR. JOSEF HOLZHEY appears centrally, and a dotted rule separates the closing anti-counterfeiting warning at the foot. |
