| Reverse description | The reverse is divided into two panels: the left panel bears, in Gothic blackletter script, the denomination inscription 'Kassenschein über 10 Heller der Stadtgemeinde Maissau Niederösterreich' arranged vertically against a lightly printed underprint of the municipal name. The right panel contains a double-ruled rectangular frame with a dotted inner border enclosing a quotation attributed to Josef Schmid, a paragraph declaring the municipality's guarantee for the notes issued to alleviate the small-change shortage, and the printed facsimile signatures of the Bürgermeister, Vizebürgermeister, and First Gemeinderat. |
