Rosegger's Geburtshaus" and the lower vignette presents a larger building in a forested setting captioned "Waldheimat Waldschule in Alpl." The large numeral "10" appears at centre left and right, while a central text panel states the redemption conditions, carries facsimile signatures of the Bürgermeister and two Vicebürgermeister, and includes the counterfeiting warning "Die Nachahmung wird gesetzl. bestraft."

Commenti	Krieglach, a small market town in the Styrian Mürztal, issued Heller Notgeld during the acute coin shortage that gripped Austria from around 1916 onward. Municipal scrip of this type was technically tolerated rather than formally authorized — the central authorities in Vienna disliked it but lacked the capacity to suppress thousands of local issues simultaneously. Krieglach is best known as the birthplace of Peter Rosegger, and some Styrian Notgeld issues leaned on that association for design cachet, though whether this particular note does so is a separate question.
