| 备注 |
Austrian Notgeld from the Kamp Valley, issued by the municipality of Kammern am Kamp in Lower Austria. The wave of small-denomination emergency money produced by Austrian towns and villages in 1920 came directly out of the postwar coin shortage — the old Habsburg coinage had largely vanished from circulation by hoarding and metal requisition, and the new republic was too overwhelmed to fill the gap quickly enough for small transactions. Communes were left to solve the problem themselves.
The Jaksch/Pick reference JPR0424-10 places this among hundreds of catalogued Lower Austrian issues, most produced in tiny print runs by local printers.
