A large ornamental boxed initial 'K' introduces the heading 'ASSENSCHEIN DER STADTGEMEINDE HAINBURG ÜBER 10 HELLER', below which five blocks of Gothic text set out the legal terms of issue: the purpose of alleviating the small-change shortage, the total authorised issue of 90,000 Kronen, the non-interest-bearing nature of the notes, the acceptance and redemption period up to 31 December 1920, and a statutory warning against counterfeiting. |
