正面描述 The note is divided into three vertical panels within a decorative outer border of interlocking scrollwork. The left and right panels each bear the large numeral '10' above the denomination 'HELLER' in bold block lettering, while the central panel contains a letterpress vignette of a Baroque manor house or castle with a prominent tower, framed by tall trees. Below the three panels, a three-line German text inscription states the issuing authority and redeemability terms, dated Gutau, April/May 1920.

备注

Austrian Notgeld from the immediate postwar period, when the collapse of the Habsburg currency system left rural municipalities scrambling to produce their own fractional emergency money. Gutau, Hundsdorf, and Erdmannsdorf — three small Upper Austrian communities — issued this note jointly, an arrangement that was administratively unusual even by Notgeld standards, where single-village issues were the norm.

The Heller itself was abolished in 1925 when Austria redenominated, rendering all such notes worthless for exchange almost immediately after their brief circulation window closed.
