Комментарии	Gross-Pertholz is a small market town in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria, and this Heller note is a product of the acute small-change shortage that gripped Austria during the First World War. Municipal authorities across the country were authorized to issue their own emergency paper — Notgeld — to keep local commerce functioning when coins vanished from circulation into hoarding and wartime metal requisitions. Three local officials signed each note: the Bürgermeister, Vizebürgermeister, and a council member, a tripartite authentication arrangement common to Austrian communal issues of this period.
