| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is set within a decorative guilloche border and carries the heading 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Gleink' in large Gothic script at top. The denomination '10 Heller 10' is printed in bold Gothic type across the centre. Below, a block of text in German Kurrent script details the legal authorisation of the emergency currency issue, citing the municipal committee resolution of 8 May 1920 and the total issuance ceiling of 16,000 Kronen, with a stated redemption period at the Gemeindekassa in Gleink from 1 to 31 December 1920. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot, identified by the printed titles 'Der Vizebürgermeister:' and 'Der Bürgermeister:'. |

Gleink is a village in Upper Austria, administratively absorbed into Steyr but historically distinct — the municipality issued this note during the acute small-change shortage that followed Austria's post-war economic disintegration. These Austrian Notgeld emissions of 1919–1921 were technically illegal under imperial-era statutes still nominally in force, but the central authorities had neither the capacity nor the inclination to enforce them, and hundreds of municipalities printed their own fractional notes regardless.
E. Prietzel was a Steyr-based printer with no particular numismatic pedigree, which shows in the workmanship. The 10 Heller denomination was among the most practically necessary — coins of this value had effectively vanished from daily commerce.
