The text states that the Marktgemeinde Gföhl, by resolution of the town council of 24 April 1920, issued Kassenscheine totalling 100,000 Kronen to alleviate the small-change shortage, redeemable without interest at the Sparkasse Gföhl between 1 and 31 May 1921. A final line in Gothic script warns that counterfeiting is punishable by law. |
