| Reverse description | The reverse is printed entirely in black Fraktur letterpress on plain cream paper, carrying a lengthy text passage explaining the legal basis and redemption conditions of the issue. The text states that the Marktgemeinde Gföhl, by resolution of the town council of 24 April 1920, issued Kassenscheine totalling 100,000 Kronen to alleviate the small-change shortage, redeemable without interest at the Sparkasse Gföhl between 1 and 31 May 1921. A final line in Gothic script warns that counterfeiting is punishable by law. |
