备注

Fieberbrunn is a small market town in the Tyrolean Pillerseetal valley, and this 10 Heller note is a product of the acute coin shortage that swept rural Austria in the immediate aftermath of the First World War. The collapse of the Habsburg monetary system left local governments scrambling to issue their own Notgeld simply to make change — Wagner in Innsbruck became a workhorse printer for dozens of these Tyrolean municipal issues during this period.

The Jaksch catalogue distinguishes multiple variants within the Fieberbrunn series; the "a" suffix here indicates the earlier of the known printings.
