| Reverse description | Printed in violet on cream paper within a geometric guilloche border of repeating lozenge ornaments, the reverse carries an oval vignette at the top centre showing a ploughman with an ox in a rural landscape, flanked by sprays of holly and wheat ears. Below, a two-line verse in Fraktur reads 'In Kleingeldnot und Kriegesleide, ward ich gedruckt zur Samlers Freude.' The main text block states the total issue value of 50,000 Kronen, the redemption deadline of 30 November 1920 at the municipal treasury, and a counterfeiting warning. The denomination '10' appears in a sunburst cartouche at lower centre, with the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister, Josef Zacherl, to the right. |
