| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central oval vignette rendered in a fine pen-and-ink landscape style shows the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain set on a wooded hillside with open meadows in the foreground, printed in dark ink over a salmon-pink underprint. The title inscription 'Wallfahrtskirche Maria Plain' appears above the oval frame in a banner. Denomination numerals '10' are placed in rope-wreath roundels at upper left and right, while an elaborate Art Nouveau-style border of intertwining floral and foliate motifs frames the entire note; the issuer inscription 'Gemeinde Bergheim' is set in a cartouche at the lower centre. |

| Opmerkingen |
Bergheim is a small municipality immediately north of Salzburg city, and its 1920 Heller notgeld issue belongs to the vast Austrian emergency money wave that followed the collapse of the Habsburg currency system. The sheer print run — over twelve million pieces for a village of a few hundred inhabitants — reflects the wholesale commercial distribution of Austrian gemeinde notgeld to collectors, a practice that was already well underway by 1920. These were sold in sets, often by mail order, far beyond any local circulation need.
Designer L. Pech is credited across several Salzburg-region notgeld issues from this period, though documentation on the individual is sparse.
