| Obverse description | Printed in dark red on cream paper in a Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) style, the note carries the heading KASSEN-SCHEIN within a decorative panel at top, flanked by stylised foliate ornaments forming the outer border. To the left, a vignette in olive-green shows Artstetten Castle amid trees; to the right, a second vignette renders an ornate Baroque portal or chapel entrance. The denomination 10 HELLER is set in large type at centre, with the issuing authority text DER MARKTGEMEINDE ARTSTETTEN and the validity clause NUR GILTIG BIS 31. DEZEMBER 1920 along the lower margin. |
