| Obverse description | Printed in letterpress within a plain rectangular border, the obverse carries the heading 'Wachauer Notgeld' in Gothic blackletter type at the top, with the subtitle 'St. Michael.' centred below it. An interlaced Art Nouveau vignette divides the upper and lower registers, beneath which the issuer inscription 'Gutschein der Marktgemeinde Spitz a. d. D.' appears in Gothic script, flanked by ruled denomination boxes reading '10 Heller' at lower left and right. The validity clause 'Giltig bis 30. September 1920.' is printed below the issuer line. |
