Opmerkingen

Ulrichsberg is a small market town in the Mühlviertel, the upland region north of the Danube bordering Bohemia. Its 10 Heller Notgeld of 1920 belongs to the vast wave of municipal emergency money issued across Austria following the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system — small denominations that the central government simply could not produce fast enough to meet everyday transactional demand in rural communities.

The Jaksch catalogue reference places this firmly within the documented Upper Austrian series, though surviving quantities vary sharply across individual municipalities of comparable size. Ulrichsberg issues tend to be less frequently encountered than those from larger Mühlviertel towns.
