| Reverse description | Printed in dark blue-black on light paper with a pale letterpress underprint of repeating small motifs, the reverse carries the denomination '10 HELLER Notgeld' in large display type at upper left, surmounted by the ornate gothic lettering 'GAFLENZ' with the legend 'DER MARKTGEMEINDE' to its right. A redemption text in German states that by resolution of the municipal committee of 17 April 1920, the G.V. Gaflenz will redeem these notes in legal tender from 1 to 30 November 1920. The lower portion bears an anti-counterfeiting warning at left and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister at right, with the printer's imprint 'E. PRIETZL, STEYR' at the lower left margin. |
