| Obverse description | Printed in dark brown on a cream paper ground with a floral guilloche underprint border, the obverse carries the title inscription "Gutschein der Stadt Gmunden." at the top. The denomination numeral "10" appears in large bold type at left and right flanking a central vignette of a multi-storey baroque municipal or commercial building rendered in fine line engraving. At the lower margin, the issuance place and date "Gmunden, 1. Dez. 1919." are inscribed alongside the title "Der Bürgermeister:" followed by a facsimile signature of the mayor. |

| Reverse lettering | Gutschein der Stadt Gmunden. 10 HELLER 10 (ZEHN) Zur Behebung der herrschenden Hartgeldnot gibt die Stadtgemeinde Gmunden auf Grund des Gemeindeausschußbeschlusses vom 7. November 1919 Gutscheine bis zu einem Gesamtbetrag von 40.000 K aus u. hinterlegt diesen Betrag als Deckung. Diese Gutscheine werden bis auf öffentlich kundgemachten Widerrut bei der städt. Zentralkassa in gesetzl. Bargeld eingelöst. Nachahmung wird bestraft. |
