Obverse description Printed in blue and green, the obverse carries a vignette at right reproducing the painting 'Shepherdess' (1633) by Paulus J. Moreelse, rendered in a detailed intaglio style. The face value numeral '10' appears in each corner within ornamental frames, with the central field carrying the issuing bank's name and the promise-to-pay inscription. The overall design is framed by guilloche patterns typical of Dutch banknote production of the period.
