| Obverse description | The German-language face is dominated by two intaglio-engraved female portrait vignettes in circular frames, one at left and one at right, each rendered in fine neoclassical style with laurel-wreathed hair. A central cartouche on a light guilloche underprint carries the bearer text in German script, the issuer name 'Oesterreichisch-ungarische Bank', the date 'Wien, 1. Mai 1880', and three manuscript facsimile signatures below their respective titles. The denomination 'ZEHN GULDEN' appears in bold letterpress at the top, with the numeral '10' repeated in the upper corners, and an ornate interlocked monogram cipher is set within a guilloche medallion at the lower centre. |
