| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Beatrix, depicted with loosely curled hair and wearing a simple neckline, rendered in high relief against a polished field. The portrait is unadorned and naturalistic in style, characteristic of the modern Dutch royal coinage tradition. The circular legend BEATRIX KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN surrounds the effigy, separated from the beaded border by a narrow raised rim.
