The extended signature run on this note — five distinct pairings across the 1952–1961 issue window — reflects the political turbulence inside the Banco Central during the early Stroessner years. Epifanio Méndez Fleitas, who signed the earliest series A notes as president of the Banco Central, was ousted by Stroessner in 1955 after emerging as a potential rival; his removal is legible in the signature sequence itself.

The shift from unnumbered to fibre-embedded paper mid-run, and the later addition of a second serial number in Series B, are the two most useful points for attribution when the date of circulation is otherwise unclear.
