Obverse description Draped bust of Ferdinando III facing right with long flowing hair, the effigy rendered in a classical late-baroque style. The encircling Latin legend reads FERD • D • G • SIC • ET • HIE • REX, denoting his titles as King of Sicily and Jerusalem. The denomination G • 10 • appears prominently in the lower field beneath the bust. The coin is struck within a finely milled border of reeded denticles.
