| Obverse description | Youthful unadorned bust of Ferdinando II facing right, rendered with fine naturalistic detail in the hair and neck truncation. The circular legend FERDINANDVS II. DEI GRATIA REX. runs continuously around the periphery, complete above the effigy, within a beaded border. The date is positioned in the exergue below the bust truncation. The portrait conveys an early Neoclassical style characteristic of the Naples mint's engraving of this period. |

The denomination G.10 appears below the shield in the field. The circular legend REGNI VTR. SIC. ET HIER. is disposed around the periphery within a beaded border, abbreviating the royal title over the kingdoms of the Two Sicilies and Jerusalem. |
