Rwanda has no historical connection to the Bolshoi Theatre, and this coin exists entirely within the modern bullion-novelty market — a category in which Rwanda's central bank has been an unusually prolific issuer since the early 2010s, licensing foreign-designed pieces primarily for European collector distribution.
