Popis líce	Within an ornate geometric cartouche framed by an arabesque border, the Arabic legend identifying the ruler Muhammad Al-Amin as Muddat Bey of Tunisia is inscribed in three lines across the field. Flanking the central inscription are two upward-curving olive or laurel sprigs, their stems crossing at the base. The Hijri date ١٣٦ (136_, corresponding to 1945) appears prominently at the bottom of the cartouche. The Latin word ESSAI is incused in small letters across the middle of the field, confirming the trial or pattern status of the piece. The overall design reflects the Orientalist aesthetic typical of French colonial Tunisian coinage of the period.
