10 Francs M.S. Voyager of the Seas

The Democratic Republic of Congo has issued commemorative silver under the "Banque Centrale du Congo" name since the country's renaming in 1997 following Laurent-Désiré Kabila's overthrow of Mobutu Sese Seko. Much of the subsequent output was contracted through European distributors and sold directly into the collector market — this piece almost certainly never touched Congolese soil.

Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas entered service in 1999 as the largest passenger vessel afloat at the time, a distinction it held only briefly before sister ships surpassed it.
