| 正面描述 | The Rwandan coat of arms is depicted at centre, featuring the national shield flanked by a sorghum stalk and an olive branch, with a Rwandan knot motif at the base and a sun and two doves above. The legend BANKI NKURU Y'U RWANDA arcs along the upper periphery, with AMAFARANGA to the lower left and ICUMI to the lower right, separated by the numeral 10 in the exergue. The design is rendered in a polished relief against a textured field. |

Rwanda's National Bank has issued a long-running series of miniature gold coins featuring African wildlife, and the Caracal entry continues that program. At 0.28 g of .9999 fine gold, these are among the smallest struck gold pieces commercially available — a format Rwanda has used strategically to lower the entry price for gold ownership without reducing fineness. The black diamond inlay is a production feature added by specialist minting contractors, almost certainly BH Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt in Munich, which has handled similar inlay work for comparable African wildlife issues.
