| Obverse description | Central field features the heraldic coat of arms of Les Saintes, depicting a shield bearing wavy horizontal bands with a sea creature (otter or dolphin) in the middle band and a fortress at the base, flanked on either side by large fish, and surmounted by a Maltese cross issuing from foliate mantling. The circular legend 'ANTILLES FRANCAISES · LES SAINTES' arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin capitals within the outer bimetallic ring.
