Obverse description Central device depicts the coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, featuring a leopard head facing forward flanked by a crossed elephant tusk and spear, all mounted on a decorative base bearing the motto PAIX on a scroll. The motto words JUSTICE and TRAVAIL appear flanking the central emblem. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 10 FRANCS appears along the lower border.
