| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays the large numeral '10' prominently in the left-center field, with a sweeping palm frond rendered in fine detail arcing diagonally across the upper and right portions of the field, its leaflets fanning outward in a decorative manner. The denomination FRANCS GUINÉENS is inscribed in two lines along the lower portion of the field in bold block lettering. The design is clean and uncluttered, emphasizing the face value against the botanical motif. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Guinea's 1985 coinage came during a period of acute economic disorder following the death of Sékou Touré in April 1984 and the military coup that immediately followed. The new regime, CMRN, inherited a currency — the syli — so debased and distrusted that it was abolished outright and the franc restored that same year at a rate of 1 franc to 100 sylis. This coin is a direct artifact of that monetary reset.
