Popis líce	Central oval vignette with an intaglio portrait of Grand Duchess Charlotte in three-quarter view, wearing a tiara and jewelled necklace, set against a finely engraved guilloche background in dark purple. Denomination numeral '10' appears in large rosette panels to the left and right of the portrait, with the legend 'GRAND-DUCHÉ DE LUXEMBOURG' across the top and 'DIX FRANCS' in a cartouche at the base. Red serial numbers are printed in letterpress at upper left and right, with the printer's imprint 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY' at the bottom margin.

Popis rubu	Central vignette of the crowned coat of arms of Luxembourg, engraved in fine detail, flanked by two oval denomination panels each bearing the numeral '10' on a guilloche ground, printed in olive-green. The Luxembourgish legend 'LETZEBURG' arcs across the top of the design, with 'ZENG FRANG' in a rectangular cartouche at the base. The printer's imprint 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY' appears in the lower margin beneath a fine horizontal rule.
